Dance Therapy
Adaptation

Dance Therapy : First Year

In November 2022, we held our very first Dance Therapy session in Paris together with a Ukrainian psychologist and choreographer. At the time, we didn’t know that dance therapy already existed — we reinvented it for ourselves. What began as an experimental class for women forced to leave their homes because of the war quickly grew into the program “I Have a Story.” Through weekly workshops exploring feminine archetypes and preparing for the performance “Body Memory. I Have a Story,” we discovered how movement and community can transform pain into art.

More than just classes

In just one year, Dance Therapy became much more than classes. We created a stage performance and a documentary film, launched online sessions connecting Ukrainian women worldwide, organized a charity photo project, held a community picnic in Paris, walked the Parisian Camino de Santiago, and officially registered our association. Most importantly, our circle has grown into a true community — a space of support, inspiration, and self-expression, where every woman finds her own voice.
