Our Second Year :
Dance, Integration and Connection
In our second year, what began as a project for Ukrainian women naturally evolved into an international circle. We moved to a new location in Paris, collaborated with French dance therapists and welcomed local participants. At Carreau du Temple, one of the city’s most renowned cultural centers, we explored dance and movement, practiced French together, attended performances and built new connections. We discovered Laban’s method, painted, shared French and Ukrainian music, visited museums and even brought Rodin’s sculptures to life — creating a safe space where all participants felt confident improvising freely.
Growing into a creative community
This year, we united 22 women from around the world in one shared dance. We joined SINGA’s incubation program, visited the Rodin Museum, learned krump, organized a private screening of our documentary “Body Memory: I Have a Story,” and attended performances at Carreau du Temple. More than just classes, our circle became a living exchange of cultures, art, and solidarity — a community where movement continues to connect and inspire.
